About Our Staff
Our staff members have an unflinching dedication to both the success of URBANAFFAIRZ.ORG and the Academic Affiarz Project. These are the people who help make our company what it is today and I appreciate all of their continued support. In most, if not all cases, the tasks that these business professionals perform are on a volunteer basis. As we continue to provide resources to students and urban communities throughout the country, it is also, my goal to provide a long-term career opportunity for these dedicated individuals. As President and CEO, I am confident that all of these individuals share my desire to develop URBAN AFFAIRZ as, not only a prominent urban development firm, but also, a leading global brand. Urban Affairz as an urban development firm formed in 2005 as a Sole Proprietorship by its CEO and President, Mr. Jason A. Green. Mr. Green has extensive printing and marketing experience that he attained from his position as Senior Coordinator in Drexel University’s Printing and Mailing Services. While attending classes at Drexel; Mr. Green joined the Baiada Business Plan Competition hosted by Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. Considering the disarray of the public educational system at that time, Mr. Green recognized the high demand for innovative educational programs. Urban Affairz placed second in the competition and won $1,000 and was featured on Venture Talk Radio.

Our firm focuses on the uniformed growth of the community. We are firm believers in that it takes a village to raise a child. We provide quality professional services at a comfortable cost for everyday men and women. Our website functions as a resource for schools, businesses, and organizations to communicate and form mutually beneficial relationships with one another. Ultimately, Urban Affairz has recognized the need for an outside entity to come forward with innovative solutions to help bridge the education gap amongst students nationally. Scope & Vision
The foundation of Urban Affairz come by way of the Academic Affairz Project; a one of a kind technology based program in which high school students are given the novel opportunity to build, manage, maintain, and promote their own version of their school website. Within these student managed websites; students’ will post relevant academic and scholastic information while learning the skills necessary to publish a successful on-line publication.
How does the Academic Affairz Project help our Students, Parents, Schools, and Communities?
Students:
- Students can use the work that they do with their website to start or expand and existing portfolio.
- Raise money for: new materials such as computers, a school trip, etc.
- Broadcast their talents, accomplishments, and school events.
- Learn and communicate with students and school across the country.
- Learn life skills for running an online business:Business Ethics, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing and Promotions, Fundraising, Photography, Audio/Visual Technology, Web Publishing, E-Commerce, Managerial Accounting.
